10 Year Anniversary Panel

TEN YEARS
AFTER PARIS.
THE SAME FIGHT.

10TH ANNIVERSARY · PANEL DISCUSSION · RECORDED LIVE

A decade on from the COP21 climate talks, the activists at the heart of Not Without Us reconvene on Zoom with director Mark Decena to ask the question the film never let go of: a deal was signed — so why are we still here?

Ten years ago, seven people walked into COP21 in Paris and refused to let governments write the planet's future without them. This is what they have to say now.

Recorded live during the film's tenth-anniversary screening, this conversation brings the activists of Not Without Us back into the same room — virtually — to revisit Paris, take stock of the decade since, and name what hasn't moved. The Paris Agreement was signed. Emissions kept rising. Land defenders kept being killed. The questions the film asked in 2016 are, in 2026, less rhetorical and more urgent.

Joining the conversation are Kandi Mosset White, Nnimmo Bassey, Pat Mooney, and Pablo Solón, moderated by director Mark Decena.
